MACS Legal Services Ltd is headed up by Managing Director/Solicitor, Mr Colin McEwen who has been in the legal profession for the past 24 years and a qualified solicitor since October 2000.
He has developed very strong links with a network with other legal experts in numerous legal areas, including, but not limited to, barristers who are able to deal with the most complex and high level criminal law cases; a part-time immigration judge/Barrister, employment law, family, conveyancing, and an array of other specialists.
The team at MACS Legal Services; offers high level professional, compassionate and expert legal advice and assistance to all clients, no matter how complex, big or small the problem seems and this, where appropriate, is assisted with the benefit of superb relationships with highly experienced and reputable Barristers chambers’ in London who can work as part of the team to achieve the best results for you.
Client care is at the Company’s heart. We believe in giving the service to our clients that we ourselves would want if we were in their shoes; speaking plain English, methodically going through the case including the strengths and weaknesses, explaining the procedures throughout and keeping the client informed are but a few of our professional and moral views and ways of working.
Staff at MACS Legal Service can assist in almost any form of legal problem because where we lack expertise in a particular area of law, we can signpost you to experts, in essence, refer you to experts in a wealth of other legal fields so it is always worth asking about any legal problem in addition to what we are currently offering.
For Criminal Law and Military Law, we offer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, legal advice and assistance cover in the Police Station and, upon your instruction, and as required, we extend such services to the Youth, Magistrates, Crown Court and Appeals.
Colin McEwen is doing the Higher Rights of Advocacy Course in Criminal Law with a view to becoming a Barrister and is working towards having greater continuity for clients by being able to continue their representation by him into the Crown Court as appropriate.
Equally, this will assist with the representation of Military and Civilian Personnel from the Armed Services. With regard to civil and immigration law, areas of expertise will be offered to all clients and where appropriate and the consent of you, the client, Barristers will be instructed with very high levels of expertise to ensure the very best outcome for all clients no matter what area of law is being covered.
The Company opening hours are 9am-5pm but out of office bookings for appointments can be made in certain circumstances and should the need arise.
